Teacher beats 4-years-old pupil to death for being stubborn in Akure, Ondo State.

Why on earth should a teacher beat a child to a coma? The level of child abuse in every part of Nigeria is alarming; children are being abused at home and in school every given day, parents and teachers lash out their frustrations on innocent kids at every given opportunity all in the name of teaching and correcting them. Bullying is not teaching, it's child's abuse.
According to Vanguard
Detectives in Ondo State have detained a primary school teacher, Alade Adebayo, for allegedly flogging to death a four-year-old female pupil Elizabeth Wanogha. The deceased pupil was a student of a private primary school, Falaye Memorial Nursery and Primary School, located at Fanibi area in Akure metropolis. The teacher, according to report, accused the deceased of being stubborn in the class. He was said to have beaten the girl to a state of coma. Cries from other pupils in the class reportedly attracted other teachers who rushed to the scene where they found that the girl had fainted. She was said to have been rushed to a private hospital and was admitted but reportedly died later.

HEARTBREAKING! Watch 10,000 Volunteers Turn San Francisco Into Gotham City For 5-Year-Old’s Leukemia patient BATMAN Dream. (Photos)

#SFBatKid Will Make You Cry Today. Well, this is going to make you cry. Miles is a five-year-old kid in San Francisco who suffers from leukemia. According to Make-A-Wish foundation:
Miles may only be 5 years old but he is fighting a very adult battle, one that we hope he will win. Miles has leukemia. He is a bright, positive, little boy who finds inspiration in super-heroes. When we interviewed Miles for a wish, he surprised even his parents: Miles wants to be Batkid!
The good people at the Make-A-Wish foundation organized an event with 10,000 volunteers to help turn the city into Gotham City by staging an elaborated Batventure for him so he can be a Batman for real. Miles ran around the city "fighting crime" in a series of organized events that helped him lived his dream. Even the president of the United State, President Obama sent him a Vine message. I wonder why bad things happen to innocent people sometimes. Anyway, get your tissue ready because these incredible pictures you are about to see are gonna make you cry.

'I'm sorry I already have a boyfriend but you're my next choice when we break up' - Hilarious love letter found in an elementary school.

A schoolboy's love letter has become an online sensation after he received an hilariously pragmatic response from his heart's desire. The little boy's letter, which was posted to Reddit on Tuesday, begins: 'Dear Ashley - would you please be my girlfriend, I like you a lot.'
He then, rather bravely, gives her three options - 'yes, no and maybe' - with an instruction to pick one.
Ashley promptly circles 'no' and replies that she can't be the letter-writer's girlfriend because she already has a boyfriend called Kyle. However the letter doesn't end there. Ashley adds that when she breaks up with Kyle, then the letter-writer is her next choice.
'P.S. that will proboby be a month or two,' she signs off.

This letter takes me back memory lane lol. Little Ashley is surely a woman who knows what she wants? nicely done. I wonder if she will carry that on into adulthood. :-)

A Must Watch Video For Dads & Moms - A New Perspective On Parenting.

This must watch emotional video is for those awesome parents who think they are not living up to expectations.
There's a lot of pressure being a parent. We want to raise our children the right way, but there is no definitive handbook for every difficult situation and we're bound to make mistakes along the way. For most of us, we're our own biggest critic. But what do the people who matter most think? How do our children see us? For Mother's Day this year, we did an experiment asking moms to describe themselves, and then compared that with what their own kids said about them. It's amazing what you can see when you look from a different perspective. - A New Perspective For Moms

schoolboy with a life-long stammer reduced his classmates to tears by copying techniques used in 'The King's Speech' for his speech. (Video)

Musharaf Asghar, 16, (middle picture) overcame his difficulty to deliver an emotional speech to his class at Thornhill Community Academy on his last day of school. He was able to deliver his touching lines, which reduced his schoolmates to tears, by listening to music through earphones as he spoke. The technique was made famous by Colin Firth's portrayal of King George VI in Oscar-winning film 'The King's Speech'. Musharaf's effort, broadcast last night on Channel 4 in the last episode of Educating Yorkshire, prompted an outpouring of emotion across social media as people rallied behind him.

Musharaf still has a stammer, but estimates his speech has improved by 80% following his teacher's tip earlier this year. The teenager, who had previously been the target of bullies, said: "It felt great to be able to speak out. People knew exactly what I was saying. Before, some people didn't understand who I really was." Musharaf has now discarded the headphones and his speech is improving all the time. Having achieved five C-grade GCSEs, he was able to start an applied science course at Huddersfield New College in September. The son of a taxi driver hopes to study science at university and, thanks to Mr Burton, has ambitions to be a teacher.

12-years-old girl hanged herself & left a note for mother saying she wants to see her dead father again.(Photos)

This is so sad and heartbreaking.
According to DailyMail,
A schoolgirl has killed herself because she was desperate to be reunited with her dead father in heaven. Maria Kislo, 12, was discovered hanging in her room by her mother Monika, 35, when she went to read her a bedtime story. Next to the tragic youngster's body was a short note saying: 'Dear Mum. Please don't be sad. I just miss daddy so much, I want to see him again.'

Her doting father Arek died suddenly in 2009 after a massive heart attack. Distraught Ms Kislo, 35, from Leszno, Poland, said: 'Five years ago I lost my husband Arek, this year my daughter. I don’t know if I can go on, and I wouldn't if it was not for my son,' she said. 'She didn't seem unhappy. She didn't have problems at school and she seemed a happy little girl.

Tragic News! Collapsed primary school wall killed one and injured four in Ogun State.

The wall of a community primary school in Adiye Owe, Ado Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State collapsed on Thursday and killed one pupil while four others were injured.

The incident, which occurred while the pupils of the school were on break from their lessons, came barely 24 hours after the members of the Education Committee of the Ogun State House of Assembly decried the poor state of facilities in public schools across the state.

The lawmakers had condemned what they described as the allocation of huge state funds to the construction of model schools across the state at the expense of the existing public institutions. The state government recently claimed to have so far expended about N5.6bn on the 28 yet-to-be completed model schools. The underneath of the collapsed wall had been eaten up by erosion, which has been the problem in that school compound.

FAMILY: Is It Right To Flog Children? Watch This Video And Learn From It (A Must watch video)

James and Harry have killed me with laughter oh.....i just can't stop myself from lol. The 'Two Angry Men' discuss whether it's right or wrong to spoil the child and spare the rod....as in, if it's right to reach for the cane and flog the nyash of a stubborn child.

They both narrated many of their childhood stories where they were asked to paint the school wall with turbine, clean the school toilets with a sponge or count grains of rice and garri for your mother. lollll

Meanwhile, with the introduction of child rights and protection, spanking is now considered one of the things that leads to increased aggression in a child.

Take a look at the children around today, either rich or poor, majority of them are spoilt. Parents are helpless for the kind of children they breed nowadays and even teachers are scared. Kids flaunting dangerous weapons and the increase in violence in cults and gangs in Nigeria schools is alarming.

When i was growing up, there was nothing like "you are grounded" grounded wetin? Let's forget that oyinbo level oh....the violence and wickedness an African child portrays, oyinbo child cannot imagine it.

TRAGIC NEWS: 15-Years-Old Son Of Nigerian Diplomat Drowned In America

The son of a Nigerian diplomat, Hafis Kareem, 15, was confirmed dead by Police, Sunday morning, after being drowned at the New Mark Commons community pool in Rockville, Maryland, USA. It was gathered that Kareem and some other kids jumped over the fence to get into the pool area, late Saturday night.

According to the Montgomery Police, "we were told Kareem went under water and the others with him yelled for help, asking someone walking by to call 911. The 15-year old was taken to the hospital where he died early Sunday morning."

Hafis Kareem’s father was a diplomat at the Embassy of Nigeria, Washington, DC and just recently got posted back to Abuja.

His sister, Hamidat Kareem, doesn’t understand why he was in the water because he didn’t know how to swim. She said: "None of us knows how to swim, so I don’t know what happened, if they pushed him in. We had a pool party here and he didn’t swim, he just stood by the pool."

However, police said that from their investigation, there was nothing to indicate Kareem was pushed, adding: "We’re told the kids were at the pool for about an hour before the incident happened – it’s unclear what happened but police believe these were teenagers playing teenage games. Detectives talked to the friends and are calling it an accidental drowning."

Weirdo: 8 years old child marries grandmother's age mate. (PHOTOS)

Just when you think you have seen it all, something weird happens again. An 8-year-old South African boy wed a 61-year-old woman, after he was instructed to do so by the ghost of his ancestor.  Little Sanele Masilela wed Helen Shabangu, who is already married and has five children.
The child, from Tshwane,  South Africa, and his family feared divine punishment had they not followed the instructions for him to marry. “This is the first time this has happened in the family,” said Sanele's mother, 46-year-old Patience Masilela, who works at a recycling center with her new daughter-in-law. “Sanele is named after his grandfather, who never had a white wedding before he died so [he] asked Sanele to get married. He chose Helen because he loves her. By doing this we made the ancestors happy. If we hadn't done what my son had asked then something bad would have happened in the family.”
As for the more than 50-year age difference, Patience was perfectly fine with letting her youngest child get married. “I didn't have a problem with it because I know it's what the ancestors wanted and it would make them happy.”
The family paid  £500 ($744.85, N117,952) for the bride, plus an additional  £1,000 ($1,489.70, N235,903)  for the ceremony, which was put together in two months.
Sanele wore a silver and black suit, while his bride donned a traditional white wedding dress, and carried a bouquet of white and purple flowers.
Images from the ceremony show the little boy looking pretty angry (and possibly confused) about his new marriage status, but he and his mother paint  a different picture. “I told my mother that I wanted to get married because I really did want to,” he explained.
