"We steal because you never stoned US for It" - Governor Rotimi Amaechi quoted. (Video)

At a tribute event held in Lagos for late Nelson Mandela, Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, said Nigerians have not shown enough aggression or resistance against stealing, crime and corruption by political leaders. He said that political office holders steal public fund because citizens have not confronted or stoned them (including himself) for the act.
In his word, he said "If you see a thief and you allow him to thief, what do you do?...You have stoned nobody that's why we are stealing." He continued by saying "If you don't take your destiny into your hands, we will go and other leaders will come and they will continue to steal".

Ex Governor James Ibori Loses Appeal In Britain.

The jailed former governor of Delta State, Nigeria, James Ibori, lost a legal appeal on Thursday against a 13-years prison sentence for embezzling £50 million in one of British's biggest money-laundering cases.

James Ibori, a Nigerian politician who governed Delta State for 8-years, tried to get his sentence reduced but the presiding judge Antony Edwards-Stuart refused the appeal, stating that money laundering should attract close to 14-years imprisonment.

Jame Ibori pleaded guilty to 10 charges of fraud and money-laundering in February 2012 in a London court.

A london court heard the stolen fortune was used to buy six foreign properties and fleet of cars, although the judge said the total amount stolen may be above £200 million.

Nollyweird/Politics: RMD on the run after embezzling N50Million - EFCC.

Philo Nkem Ajufo, the acting General Manager of Delta State Tourism Board, has been detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja over her role in a financial scheme. Ms. Ajufo is reportedly being quizzed for conniving with her boss, Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD), to embezzle N50 million from the state Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Mr. Mofe Damijo, a well known Nollywood star, is the commissioner in charge of the ministry. Our EFCC said the commissioner was also being sought by the anti-corruption agency, but he has been elusive.

An EFCC source confirmed Ms. Ajufo’s arrest. “As we talk, the Delta State Tourism GM, one Mrs. Nkem Ajufo, is been held in our headquarters here in Abuja over her involvement in the N50 million fraud. Her boss, Mr. Richard Mofe Damijo, is not left out but as we speak he is still avoiding us,” said the source.

Two sources at the ministry told our reporter that the EFCC last week delivered a letter inviting Ms. Ajufo to appear at their headquarters. She was reportedly asked to bring along relevant documents concerning the N50 million that was meant for the purported 2007 Delta Expo event which never held.

The sources disclosed that Mr. Mofe Damijo went underground on learning about the current development.

Hilarious Video: Delta State Governor & Senator Chris Ngige show their dancing skills by dancing to 'Kukere' on stage with Iyanya.

The banquet event to honour doctors rounded off the successful First Annual National Health Summit which was hosted by the Delta State Government in Asaba in January 2013.
The 7-day event was themed Repositioning the Medical Profession and Nigeria’s Health System for National Development and was focused on addressing all the challenges facing the health sector and charting a new future for the sector.
The high point of the banquet was when Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State (who is also a medical doctor) and Senator Chris Ngige of Anambra State hit the stage alongside Iyanya. The politicians displayed their dance talent while the crowd erupted in cheers.

I'm actually not surprised because Nigerian political leaders excel in the field of merry making.

Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan Writes To Nigerians Through Facebook to Regain Their Trust After His Lies Went Viral.

Christiane Amanpour of CNN has really cripples Nigeria President by exposing his lies.
Just as the CNN video on the comparison between the Nigeria bad power supply and the Super Bowl chaos goes viral online, Nigeria's President tried to regain the people's confidence by sending a message via his Facebook page with a lot of promises.

Below is the extensive and promising message.

LMAO! Christiane Amankpour Of CNN Mocks President Goodluck Jonathan Of Nigeria On Electricity.

I'm officially a fan of Christiane Amanpour! This woman sure knows how to deal with and bring out the legs of politicians like Nigerian's president GEJ. The last interview she had with him, he lied about Nigerians being happy with the electricity, but guess what, something happened at the Super bowl that brought out the issue and you trust Nigerians can never fail to make reference in such things.
Watch this video, you will get the full gist and cannot help but love this woman.

#Nigerian #Politician Are #Thieves! #Comrade Adams #Oshiomole Is A Wolf In Sheep Clothing.

I drove pass Mega filling station along sapele road and and saw some kids selling Oranges, I was drawn to the kids and asked them why they are not in school at this hour and they replied that they need to sell those oranges to be able to afford what to eat for the day..

I asked the children where they were from and to my greatest shock they both replied Edo state, one of them said the mother was very sick and her father was deceased and she had to sell oranges everyday to be able to look after her dying mother and also that she stopped going to school since primary 2....

Now Analyze this: A government spends billions of Niara buying SUVs for the already rich class of Edo state while the poorest, most vulnerable and impoverished people of the state are left to continue to wallow in poverty and total neglect.
