Martin Elechi, The Ebonyi State Governor Suspends Attorney General And Two Commissioners For Dressing Casually To A State Function.

Does dressing casually has anything to do with working effectively?

Yesterday, Martin Elechi, the Ebonyi state Governor, suspended the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Ben Igwenyi, Hyacinth Ikpo the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, and Chukwuma Nwandiugo the Commissioner for Works and transport over what he called "improper dressing".

The commissioners were said to have dressed casually to a state banquet organized for the members of the Society of Gynaecologists and Obstetrics of Nigeria (SOGON) at the Government House on Friday night; which angered the Governor because they seemed to have portrayed a bad image of their state in the eyes of the members of SOGON who came from various states of the federation.

The suspension is for a period of 3 months and the Commissioners are directed not to attend any state function throughout the duration of their suspension, to hand over all government properties in their possession to their permanent secretaries and the suspension is without payment.

Do you think they deserve a suspension for dressing casually to a state function?
uhmmm....this Ebonyi State Governor dey make me go gaga.....
